Malkangiri: The district administration on Saturday declared a Junior Science College as a micro-containment zone after a student tested positive for COVID-19.
According to reports, the administration had taken the samples of some students of Ghadai Residential Junior Science College. One of the students tested positive.
The administration has begun the contact tracing of the infected student while the COVID-19 test of other students, who have come in contact with him, is underway.
The administration has directed the college authorities not to allow any student and staff to move out of the premises and banned the entry of the outsiders to the campus.
