Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Thursday asked the district collectors and municipal commissioners to take steps for refund of claims of private COVID Vaccination Centres (CVC).
The private CVCs will have to submit claims by July 20 and verification will be completed within two days.
The Union Health Ministry has operationalised the refund mechanism and developed SOPs to facilitate the refund mechanism to private CVCs. The Private CVCs will have to submit their refund claims on the National Health Authority (NHA) portal.
Additional Chief Secretary, PK Mohapatra stated in his order that reconciliation of accounts and settlement of all claims should be completed by July 31.
The refund would include the payment made for the returned vaccine doses and the amount for such quantity of doses which were paid for but not supplied to private hospitals are to be refunded to the respective private hospitals.
