Pvt Finance Company Staffer Goes Missing In Odisha’s Kendrapada; Kidnapping Suspected

Kendrapada: An employee of a private finance company reportedly went missing at Pattamundai under Mahakalapada block in Odisha’s Kendrapada district on Wednesday evening.

He has been identified as Swagat Samal of Rajgarh village in the district. It is being suspected that he has been kidnapped.

According to sources, he went missing around 7 pm while on his way back to office after collecting Rs 2.65 lakh. His motorcycle and sandals were found near Dak Bungalow under Tantiapal Marine police limits. He had received a call from his family around 6.45 pm but it was found switched off thereafter.

His family has lodged a complaint with Tantiapal police, which is examining CCTV cameras for some clues in the case.
