Private Vehicles Coming To Odisha From Outside Can Pay Transport Taxes Online

Bhubaneswar: The Transport department has launched a new initiative on its portal for payment of necessary taxes by the vehicles coming to Odisha from other sates.

In an official notification, the State Transport Authority stated that the transport or private vehicles, tractors and school buses coming to the state from outside can pay taxes, permit fees from the online portal, parivahan.gov.in.

The vehicle owners can log in to the website, pay taxes and download receipts by selecting checkpost tax icon.

Earlier, the portal, which was launched under the 5T initiative, offered services only to goods vehicles and contract carriage vehicles of other states.
