New Delhi: Actor Priyanka Chopra shared a series of pictures and videos from her conference at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on Instagram. The actor arrived in New York on Monday to attend the UNGA’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Moment, as the United Nations begins the UN High-Level Week. Along with the highlights, the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador also penned a caption revealing more details about her conference at the UNGA.
Priyanka Chopra shared a short video of her speech where she is seen addressing the crowd and discussing the world’s most significant issues, including climate change. Apart from that she also shared a picture with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai and US poet Amanda Gorman. The actor very proudly shared a short video of the seating arrangements showing the tag of India. The Quantico star also shared a short clip of Amanda Gorman reading a poem at the conference.
Along with the post, Priyanka Chopra shared a caption revealing details about her conference at the UNGA. She wrote, “Walking through the gates of the United Nations this morning to speak at UNGA for the second time, as a proud representative of @unicef, gave me real pause”. The actor further expressed herself and shared a few highlights from the conference.
Priyanka Chopra was named Global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2016 after working with the organisation for nearly a decade and a half. The actor recently travelled to Poland to meet with Ukrainian refugees and spend time with children. The global icon also shared photos of her interactions with the children and women at the refugee centre on her Instagram account.
