Prohibitory Orders Enforced In Paradip Town Amid Coronavirus Scare

Paradip: Prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPc has been clamped in the Port Town of Paradip, its nearby areas and in Jagatsinghpur town in view of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to avoid mass congregation of people.

In a notification, Jagatsinghpur Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra on Monday said gathering of more than four persons will not be allowed at any public or private places in Paradip town, including beaches near the Baliyatra ground and the Jawahar Guest House.

Similarly, no political rally, agitation, strike or public meeting will be allowed in any office, industry or organisation, he added.
