Kolkata: Prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC have been imposed in Ekbalpur area of West Bengal for two days from October 10 in view of the ongoing law and order situation, an official order issued on Monday said.
This colonial-era law has been imposed following clashes between two groups, it said, adding, there will be restrictions on movement, carrying arms, and unlawful assembly.
