Nabarangpur: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday inaugurated 12 projects worth Rs 19 crore in Nabarangpur during his day long visit to the district.
The Chief Minister inaugurated a community health centre at Chandahandi and two boys’ hostel buildings of Patraput High School. He also inaugurated two upgraded higher secondary schools at Papadahandi.
Naveen laid foundation stone for 16 other projects worth Rs 1,097 crore. The major projects include construction of two bridges on Bhandari river.
He distributed 2,520 bicycles to construction worker and safety kits to 3,000 construction workers, land patta to 975 slum dwellers, forest land patta to 1511 beneficiaries, homestead patta to 2,400 beneficiaries, revised Madhu Babu Pension to old and destitute, pump sets to 180 farmers and Rs 25 lakh assistance to Mission Shakti Association of Umerkote block.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to lay foundation stones of various projects at Jeypore in Koraput district also.
He also attended a public meeting at Umerkote stadium.
