Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday announced that class promotion of students from Class 1 to 8 will be completed by April 20.
The admission and re-admission process for Class 1 to 9 students will be completed by April 30. The process will start on April 20, a notification issued by the School and Mass Education department said.
Class 9 students will have to appear for Summative Assessment–II exam as per the new assessment policy introduced by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.
Summative Assessment and declaration of results for Class 9 students and promotion to Class 10 will be completed by May 10.
