Malkangiri: A young doctor and his team have helped save the life of a pregnant women in Malkangiri district
According to reports, a medical team from Kalimela community health centre (CHC) led by Dr Radheshyam Jena had gone to Godigandi village on a pulse polio campaign. After reaching the village, the team came to know about the critical condition of a pregnant woman.
Jena and his team rushed to the woman’s house and conducted the delivery. But it was found that the woman had another child in her womb. The team then carried the woman on a cot to Kalimela CHC after walking for eight hours.
The woman later delivered a stillborn baby. However, her condition is stable.
