New Delhi: A startup named PumPumPum to provide used car leasing has been launched in Delhi-NCR. It is the country’s first such service. It plans to expand to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune soon.
The subscription costs range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh. It includes insurance, maintenance and an OBD-device annual subscription fee. The OBD device monitors the driving behaviour and car’s health.
The minimum lease duration is 6 months and the maximum is 2 years.
There is also a monthly limit of 1,500 km beyond which the customers will be charged ranging from Rs 8 per km to Rs 15 per km depending on the vehicle.
The used cars undergo a 200-point inspection and are scratch-free and dent-less, the company claims.
