Puri: An Odia boy from the Land of Jagannath has a unique cheer message for Indian athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics. He has crafted a #Cheer4India message with matchsticks as a show of support for the countrymen.
With barely hours left for the opening ceremony of the biggest sporting event, Saswat Ranjan Sahoo of Kumbharpada in the town wanted to send across a special message and decided to design the logo with matchsticks.
“I have prepared the Olympic logo using 930 matchsticks in one day,” said the 18-year-old.
“I wish success to our Indian sportsmen and support #Cheer4India campaign raised by Ministry of Sports,” he added.
