Puri: The municipal authorities have told the traders doing business at Shree Jagannath Stadium, Penthakata to vacate their shops by Monday.
In a notice issued in this regard, Puri Municipality has stated that the structure has been declared unsafe and may collapse any time. Considering the threat posed to the people, it has decided to demolish the trading complex on October 20.
The municipality further said it would not be held responsible in case of loss of properties sustained by anybody during the demolition.
The notice has been issued in order to protect the lives and properties of the people inside the structure, it added.
