Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration has started preparations for the Rath Yatra 2022 in Puri on Monday.
As part of the annual event, a five-member special team led by Administrator for Rituals of the temple Jitendra Kumar Sahu has left for Badraul Thakurani temple at Badmul under Daspalla range in Nayagarh district.
On Tuesday, a special puja will be performed near Badaraula Thakurani after which they will leave to identify wood for the three chariots.
