Puri: A 60-year old man succumbed to COVID-19 in a hospital in Puri district on Saturday, raising Odisha’s death toll due to the infection to 12.
The Health Department tweeted that the deceased was also suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The death on Saturday was the first reported from Puri district. Earlier, corona hotspot Ganjam district had reported six deaths, while four were reported from Khurda and one from Cuttack district.
