Puri: The servitors of Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri will get keypad
mobile phones soon, informed Shree Jagannath Temple Administration
(SJTA) Chief Pradip Kumar Jena on Saturday.
Following a crucial meeting of Chhatisha Nijog, Jena said, “It has
been decided to prepare a list of eligible servitors to provide them
mobile phones accordingly. However, cost of the mobile phones and SIM
cards shall be borne by the concerned nijog.”
At the meeting, it was also decided to perform the Dibapahuda rituals
of Lord Jagannath this month in a systematic manner, repair of Nata
Mandir, Jagamohan and Beharan.
The meeting was attended by district collector Arvind Agarwal, Puri SP
Sarthak Sarangi and servitors of different nijogs.
