‘Pushpa 2’ Makers Should Be Worried About Clash With ‘Miss You’, Says Siddharth

Mumbai: Siddharth’s romantic movie ‘Miss You’ is set to hit theatres a week ahead of ‘Pushpa 2’.

Asked if he is worried about the clash with the Allu Arjun movie, Siddharth said he is confident that his film will be loved by the audiences.

He also said that if his movie is liked by the audience, then the makers of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ should be worried as it will be releasing after ‘Miss You’.

“There are many things that need to happen if my movie is to be in theatres in the second week. The first is that my film should be good and liked by the audience,” said Siddharth as quoted by Hindustan Times.

“About the next movie, they should be worried, and that is not my problem. If the film is good, it will be in theatres. A good cinema cannot be removed from theatres, at least not in this era where social media awareness is big,” he added.

Directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster ‘Pushpa: The Rise.’

Besides Allu, it also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Fassil. The film will hit be released on December 5.

Reports suggest that the film has already crossed $1.4 million in advance bookings in North America.

‘Miss You’, which has Ashika Ranganath as Siddharth’s co-star, is a romantic comedy which will hit theatres on November 29.
