The wedding festivities kicked off on December 20 with a Sangeet ceremony, followed by Haldi, Pellikuthuru, and Mehendi rituals the next day.
Double Olympic medallist Sindhu and Datta Sai, Executive Director of Posidex Technologies, will host a reception in their hometown Hyderabad, on December 24.
According to Sindhu’s father, the families have known each other for a long time, but the wedding arrangements were made within a couple of months. The couple decided on the date strategically, as Sindhu’s training and competitive schedule for next year are already packed.
