Bhubaneswar: Private bus owners’ association has called off its proposed state-wide strike from November 1, All Odisha Bus Owners’ Association spokesperson Debashish Nayak informed on Saturday.
The move came following a meeting between the association members and Commerce and Transport Minister Nrusingha Charan Sahu.
At the meeting, the minister assured the association members that the government would consider their 11-point charter of demands, including withdrawal of toll collection at different toll gates and revision of fare every year.
