Pvt Company Worker Shot At In Odisha

Dhenkanal: A worker engaged by a vendor of Tata Steel was shot at by an unidentified miscreant at Talabahali road under Kantabania police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Monday.

The victim, identified as Ravi Kumar, was an employee of Rakesh Kashyap and Company, a vendor of Tata Steel Meramandali. He sustained bullet injuries on his head and was admitted to the district headquarters hospital in Angul in critical condition.

According to sources, the miscreant opened fire on Ravu while he was returning home from his workplace. He was rescued by locals and rushed to the hospital.

While the reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, police have begun an investigation to identify and nab the accused.
