PXE Military Wing Area In Odisha’s Chandipur Declared Containment Zone

Balasore: The district administration has declared “PXE Military Wing” area at Chandipur as containment zone.

The administration took the decision after two jawans of the military wing of Proof and Experimental Establishment (PXE), a unit of DRDO, tested positive for the coronavirus.

Chandipur-Balramgadi road; PXE, DSC Wing; MES Store area; parking (convoy) ground and NGO Mess come under the containment zone, said district collector K Sudarshan Chakravarthy in an official order.

As per the order, movement of vehicles and people in the containment zone is strictly prohibited. All the shops inside the zone will remain closed and people will remain indoors.

PXE Administration has formed various teams to supply essential items and medical equipment at doorsteps, the order stated.
