Bhawanipatna: Forest staffs have rescued a 7-foot-long python from a truck going to Rayagada district on Friday.
The truck driver spotted the snake while filling air in a rear wheel at Chhatikuda village, about 16 km from Bhawanipatna. The snake was hanging on the chassis bar of the fuel tank.
Locals informed forest staff, who came and rescued the python.
