Jharsuguda: A man, who had fled a quarantine centre, was apprehended from Badheimunda in Jharsuguda district on Monday night.
He was then sent to BTM Primary School, a quarantine facility in the district where he was being kept earlier after arriving from corona hotspot Nala Road in Rourkela on April 26.
He had managed to escape from the quarantine centre on Monday morning.
The authorities had identified him as Asid Khan of Kabaristanpada in the district. His swab sample was also collected and sent for COVID-19 test.
On the basis of a complaint lodged by an official, police had also registered a case against Khan under Sections 188, 269, 270 and 271 of the IPC.
