Question Paper Pattern For Odisha Plus II Exams Revised, Know Details

Bhubaneswar: In view of the inconveniences faced by Plus II students in pursuing their studies during the COVID-19 pandemic last year, the Odisha government on Monday revised the question paper pattern for their annual exams.

The School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash, informed that the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has revised the pattern in accordance with the reduced syllabuses for the students who have been registered in the 2015-16 academic session and onwards.

He said out of 100 marks for each subject, there will be 50 multiple choice questions (MCQ) with one mark each. “Besides, there will be 30 per cent of short questions with either 2-3 marks each and 20 per cent of long questions with 5 marks each,” he added.

Dash stated that the students will appear for the exams at their respective Plus II colleges and Higher Secondary schools.

He, however, added that the exam fee to be collected from the students has not been decided yet.

Regarding the commencement of form fill-up, he said the CHSE will announce the date very soon.

The annual Plus II examinations will be held from May 15 to June 11.
