R-Day Celebration: Guv To Unfurl Tricolour In Bhubaneswar, CM In Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Dr SC Jamir and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will unfurl the tricolour on the Republic Day in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack respectively.

Besides, the following ministers, Revenue Divisional Commissioners (RDCs) and district collectors will unfurl the national flag at the district headquarters.

According to an official notification, Rural Development Minister Bikram Keshari Arukh, Panchayati
Raj Minister Pradeep Maharathy, Planning & Convergence Minister Usha Devi would hoist the tricolour at Jajpur, Balasore and Angul district headquarters respectively.

The other ministers who would hoist the tricolor at the remaining district headquarters are as follows:

School & Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra (Baripada of Mayurbhanj district)
Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Surya Narayan Patra (Puri)
Industries Minister Niranjan Pujari (Bargarh)
Women & Child Development and Mission Shakti, SS&EPD, MS&ME Minister Prafulla Samal (Keonjhar) Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Maheswar Mohanty (Nayagarh)
ST & SC Development Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi (Dhenkanal)
Finance and Excise Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera (Sambalpur)
Health and Family Welfare and Law Minister Pratap Jena (Rayagada)
Steel & Mines and Energy Minister Prafulla Mallick (Sundargarh),
Tourism & Culture Minister Ashok Chandra Panda (Chhatrapur in Ganjam district)
Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Minister Snehangini Chhuria (Sonepur)
Commerce & Transport Minister Nrusingha Charan Sahu (Kandhamal)
Labour Minister Sushanta Singh (Kalahandi)
Higher Education Minister Ananta Das (Bhadrak)
Sports and Youth Services, Electronics and IT Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera (Malkangiri).

Besides, Revenue Divisional Commissioners of Northern and Southern Divisions would hoist the tricolour in Rourkela and Berhampur respectively.

Apart from this, Collectors of Deogarh, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Kendrapara, Khurda, Koraput, Nuapada and Nabarangpur will unfurl the flag in their respective districts.
