Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Thursday unearthed 2 multi-storey buildings, 1 flat, 11 plots, bank and insurance deposits worth Rs 95 lakh and another Rs.1.22 lakh in cash during raids at seven places in connection with alleged disproportionate assets accumulated by Assistant Engineer (R & B) Division-II, Balasore, Ajay Kumar Senapati.
Simultaneous house searches are being conducted at 7 places in Puri, Balasore and Khurda districts:
1. Residential house of Senapati at Madanmohan Lane, Damodar Road, Harichandisahi, Puri.
2. Flat No. 2
063 on the 2nd floor of Ananya Palm Beach, Puri,
3. The government residential quarter of Senapati in Balasore.
4. His office room at Executive Engineer (R & B) Division-II, Balasore
5. Double-storey building at Kulakandhei Balugaon, Khurda.
6. Parental house at Bhagabati Sahi, Banpur, Khurda.
7. House of a relative at Tangi, Khurda.
Assets Unearthed
1. A triple-storey building at Harachandi Sahi, Puri
2. One double-storey building at Kulakundhei, Chilika, Khurda
3. One 1-BHK Flat on 2nd floor of Ananya Palm Beach, Puri
4. 11 Plots in and around Bhubaneswar, Puri & Chilika
5. Rs.1,22,500 in cash
6. Bank, Postal and Insurance deposits worth Rs.95 lakh.
7. 1 four-wheeler (TATA Nexon XZ).
8. 3 two-wheelers.
The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above buildings/flat/ plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing, an official release said, adding that further searches is on.
