Puri: The district administration has imposed a ban on Radha Pada darshan at Gopinath temple in Sakhigopal this year due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Thousands of devotees throng the temple Radha Pada darshan on the occasion of Anla Nabami. This year the darshan is scheduled on November 23.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 due to congregation of devotees, the ban was clamped. The decision was taken at a meeting of Puri collector, SP and temple servitors on Friday.
However, the rituals of the deities will be conducted with adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
