Puri: The district administration, which had on Friday banned Radha Pada darshan at Gopinath temple in Sakhigopal this year due to COVID-19 pandemic, clamped prohibitory order under Section 144 of CrPC around the temple on Sunday.
The order was issued to prevent congregation of the devotees for the Radha Pada darshan on the occasion of Anla Navami on Monday.
While the Section 144 has been clamped within 200-metre radius of the temple, the administration has restricted the movement of the devotees from the Chandan Pokhari to the Siddha Bakula.
The prohibitory order will remain in force till Bada Ekadasi ritual on November 25.
The rituals of the Goddess Radha in the temple will be performed by the sevayats in adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
