Mumbai: Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi reportedly mixed water in her urine sample to dodge the drug test.
According to a report in Deccan Herald, the Sandalwood actress handed over the tampered urine sample to doctors at KG General Hospital for carrying out the drug test.
However, the doctors identified the alteration in urine sample and informed the CCB sleuths.
The investigating officer described Ragini’s act as ‘unfortunate and shameful’.
The officials informed the magistrate about the incident and sought an extension in Ragini’s judicial custody.
Ragini was arrested on September 4 for her alleged involvement in the drug nexus.
