Bhubaneswar: A team of Special Squad of Commissionerate Police on Saturday raided a fake tobacco manufacturing company in the Odisha capital and arrested the owner of the company and his two sons.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Special Squad raided the company at Mahadev Nagar in Jharpada area of the city and seized a huge amount of fake tobacco and tobacco manufacturing equipment.
The team later arrested the owner of the company and his two sons.
Sources said that the company was preparing and selling tobacco products in the name of some branded tobacco manufacturing companies.
Notably, a fake ghee manufacturing company was also raided recently in the capital city.
