Jharsuguda: Infrastructure development works of railways in Odisha, specially in Jharsuguda area, were elaborately discussed at the meeting attended by Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw here on Monday.
The Minister stressed on safety issues and suggested several measures to improve passenger amenities in SER and ECoR jurisdiction. Timely completion of all ongoing railway projects was also the thrust of the meeting which was attended by General Manager, South Eastern Railway and East Coast Railway at Jharsuguda, Archana Joshi.
Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari; Sambalpur MPNavin Gangdev; Rengali MLA Nauri Nayak; Sundargarh MLA Kusum Tete; Birmitrapur Shankar Oram, Shankar Oram; Sambalpur MLA Jainarayan Mishra; former MLAs Ravi Nayak and Radharani Panda were also present.
Principal Officers of South Eastern Railway, East Coast Railway and South East Central Railway also attended the meeting.
