Bhubaneswar: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Sunday took stock of the ongoing infrastructure works in Odisha’s Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar railway section.
During his inspection of the section, Vaishnaw reviewed the safety, traffic facilities and other works. He advised the Railway officials to complete the infrastructure related projects and passenger amenities works within scheduled time.
Later, Vaishnaw visited Cuttack and Bhubaneswar railway stations and reviewed the progress of the ongoing infrastructural works for redevelopment of these stations to international standard. He expressed his happiness over the progress of the construction works.
The Union Minister also visited Maniabandha handloom product stall in Cuttack station. Several handloom products of Maniabandha village in Cuttack district have been showcased in the One Station One Product stall.
It may be noted that during his recent visit to Odisha, Vaishnaw had assured the local weavers of the opening a Maniabandha stall at Cuttack station under the Ministry’s “One Station One Product” initiative.
