Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways has decided to provide free transport for aid and relief materials to Kerala in view of the recent floods that have so far claimed more than 300 lives.
According to sources, the Railways will not charge any freight cost for transporting relief materials to any station in Kerala till the end of this month. Government organisations can directly avail this service while others have to get in touch with the Divisional Railway Managers for approval.
