Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a nowcast warning for 15 districts of Odisha till 7.30 pm.
Light to moderate rain is likely in some parts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Jajpur, Boudh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Rayagada, Deogarh, Sundargarh and Sonepur during the next 3 hours.
The IMD has advised people to move into safer places to avoid lightning strikes.
