Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warning for 12 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, till 4 pm on Monday.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning likely in some parts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghput, Koraput and Gajapati in 3 hours. People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
Yellow warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for one or two places in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bargarh and Deogarh districts on July 10. Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places in North Coastal Odisha, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Khurda, Nayagarh and at a few places in rest districts of Odisha, according to IMD’s Sunday bulletin.
