Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued a nowcast warning for 18 districts of Odisha, including the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 5 pm.
Light to moderate rain is likely in some parts of Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Puri, Angul, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Keonjhargarh, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Nayagarh, Nabarangpur, Baragarh, Jharsuguda, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar) and Cuttack (including Cuttack city).
The IMD has advised people to move to safer places to avoid lightning strikes.
