Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning in some parts of 22 districts of Odisha till 5 pm on Monday.

n Nayagarh, Puri, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Nayagarh, Nuapada, Balangir, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Koraput, Malkangiri and Rayagada for the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
