Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning in some parts of 22 districts of Odisha till 5 pm on Monday.
The weather condition will prevail in Nayagarh, Puri, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Nayagarh, Nuapada, Balangir, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Koraput, Malkangiri and Rayagada for the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
