Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (MD) here on Sunday issued yellow warning for rain in five districts of Odisha.
Light rain accompanied by lightning is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Kendrapada till 6 pm.
The MeT office has also forecast light to moderate rain at a few places in North Odisha and at one or two places in South Coastal Odisha till 8.30 am on February 21.
While dry weather will prevail in the state during the next three days, rainfall activity is likely at one or two places in Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj on February 24.
According to IMD, there will be no change in the night temperature during the next 4 to 5 days in South Odisha and North coastal Odisha. The minimum temperature may fall by 3-4 degree Celsius in North Interior Odisha during the next 2 days and gradually rise by 3-4 degree Celsius in subsequent 2-3 days in North Interior Odisha.
