Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday foracast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning in some parts of 12 districts of Odisha till 4.30 pm.
Besides twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, this weather condition will prevail in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Kandhamal during the next 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
