Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning for some parts of seven districts of Odisha till 4 pm on Friday.
The weather condition will prevail in Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Boudh and Keojhar for the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
