Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar said moderate thundershowers with lightning and light to moderate rainfall will prevail at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and 23 districts in Odisha on Saturday.
The Met Centre said rainfall will occur in some parts of the districts of Puri, Balangir, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Gajapati, Rayagada, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Koraput, Malkangiri , Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Jagatsingpur, Kendapada, Nayagarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city) and Khurda (including Bhubaneswar) between 4 pm and 7 pm.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect against lightning strikes.
