Rain Alert For Odisha’s Twin Cities, 22 Districts

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning for 22 districts of Odisha till 8 pm on Wednesday.

The weather condition will prevail in Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Deogarh, Angul, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Bargarh, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jagatsingpur, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Ganjam and Gajapati within next three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
