Rain Alert For Odisha’s Twin Cities

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a fresh warning of light to moderate rain with thundershower for some parts of 14 districts in Odisha, including Cuttack city and Bhubaneswar, within the next two hours.

The weather condition is likely to prevail in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsingpur, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack (including Cuttack City), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Dhenkanal, Bargarh, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts till 4.30 pm.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
