Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm at some places in 10 districts of Odisha.
Puri, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city, Balasore, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Bhadrak are likely to experience this weather condition till 9.30 am.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
