Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain and thunderstorm with lightning in some parts of 11 districts of Odisha till 11.45 am on Wednesday.
Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Boudh, Ganjam, Dhenkanal, Angul and Cuttack (including Cuttack city) are likely to experience this weather during the next three hours, the MeT office said.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
