Rayagada: The approach road to an under-construction bridge near Jagannathpur village in Rayagada district was washed away on Thursday following incessant rain since last two days, cutting communication links between Gunupur and Srikakulum in Andhra Pradesh.
Road connectivity to more than 30 villages of Gathalapada and Marampa panchayats under Gunupur block too was disrupted after the temporary bridge got swept away.
