Bhubaneswar: Rain with thunder, lightning and gusty winds is likely to lash Bhubaneswar and Kataka cities on Friday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 2.30 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning of cloudy sky (overcast) with light to moderate rain, thunder and lightning accompanied by gusty wind of 30-40 kmph gusting to 50 kmph in the two within the next 3 hours.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
