Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department has issued yellow warning for 12 districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, 4.30 pm on Sunday.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning along with gusty wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph may occur in some parts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Balangir, Nabarangpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack districts in 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
