Rain, Gusty Wind To Lash Odisha For Next 4 Days; Hailstorm On April 7

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to experience light isolated rainfall with thunderstorm/lightning/gusty winds during the next 4 days with hailstorm on April 7 under the influence of a western disturbance, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Wednesday.

The regional centre here has issued yellow warning for thunderstorm, lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-50 kmph for several districts of the state till April 9 morning. Check here:

While no warning has been issued for April 3, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm may continue at one or places in coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput while dry weather is likely to prevail in the remaining districts.

However, there will be no large change in the day temperature during the next 4-5 days in the state, the MeT office added.
