Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thundershower and lightning is likely to lash several parts of at least 13 districts of Odisha on Saturday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
Issuing the warning at 3.20 pm, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar also sounded yellow alert and said light to moderate rain/ thundershower with lightning may affect some parts of 13 districts within next three hours.
These districts are Keonjuar, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Nayagarh, Boudh, Bargarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Ganjam, Koraput, Rayagada and Nabarangpur.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
